🏃♂️Who's up for a competition?
Hope you all are having a wonderful week!
By now you might be seeing a pattern with our weekly Community Newsletter: Wednesday releases mean that we have a special announcement for you!
Make sure to read though to the Yes Theory Corner at the end to not miss out.
We can’t believe that we are still managing to bring you meetups from different countries, this just shows you how international this community really is!
It’s official!
The Northern Ireland Yes Fam shared with us that this is considered their first official meetup! Six of you decide to organize a full day of events, starting off with a visit to the botanical gardens. The day followed with some games in the park where you got to test your frisbee skills. You then wrapped with dinner and a game of SPARK.
But wait...that wasn’t it. You then decided to go for a 6-mile (~10km) walk to show a visiting Yes Fam around the city!
“It was amazing!!! This was our FIRST planned meet-up for Yes Fam Northern Ireland & it was definitely a success ~ We all enjoyed it so much & had a lot of fun! Even though there were only six of us, as one of the admins it makes me feel so pumped & excited to see how Yes Fam NI will grow in the future.”
- Katie, Northern Ireland
Catch me if you can!
Get ready…set…go!
Are you able to catch me?
The DMV Yes Fam decided to organize a fun game of capture the flag in Washington DC where a group of around 15 of you decided to come together for a fun competition. We definitely think that this group photo wins for most on brand…capture the flag in front of flags with a Seek Discomfort flag.
“The competitiveness came out in this event. We played capture the flag at night on the national mall. Afterwards, we all spent time together for family dinner at a yes fam’s house eating homemade butter chicken and coconut rice!”
- LeAnn, USA
Bootcamp Time
Time to get serious!
More than 50 of you gathered together this weekend in Montreal, Canada to tackle a bunch of games in the park, including a Boot Camp. We are very curious about how that went and if everyone managed to survive. But you got to smooth things out with some dancing, card games, and a game of Diversity Bingo.
Would you do a Yes Fam Bootcamp training?
“This event is the most that we've ever put into for the Montreal Fam! I was very glad to see the turnout :)”
- Marjorie, Canada
Every week we go through the beautiful stories that the community shares in our Yes Theory Fam Facebook group to highlight someone living the "Yes Theory".
Open Heart
A year ago, Karla shared with the Yes Fam her vulnerability about her needing to get open heart surgery. Her story brought together the community to show support for how important vulnerability is when going through a difficult moment in your life.
Highly recommend going through the comments to show how supportive this community really is when you decide to get out of your comfort zone.
