Let’s get started!
We’ve got a great lineup of meetups to highlight this week from three different countries with completely different activities!
🗺️City Bingo
What better way to get to know a city and make new friends than by exploring it with the UK Yes Fam on a beautiful Fall day?
Last week you hosted a meetup in Cambridge jam-packed with activities and games, including a Seek Discomfort-themed bingo around the city. We bet you got lots of steps on that day! Later in the evening, you jammed out at karaoke, and of course, it wouldn’t be a UK Yes Fam meetup if you didn’t wrap up your full day with dinner at Wetherspoons aka SPOONS.
“The meetup in Cambridge was organised by Ash, Holly, Aiden and Rose. We did seek discomfort bingo which has been a great activity in the past, lots of people loved getting to know Cambridge through the bingo. We also went to do karaoke and arcade games where we got to relax and enjoy ourselves. A lot of people felt loved and cared for and I think a lot of deeper connection were made. One of the tasks for the bingo was to bring a random stranger to the meet up and we managed to get a total of 7 random strangers show up!”

🏖️ Beach Day
Let’s go to the beach-each, let’s go get a wave!
The Singaporean Yes Fam decided to get together this weekend and have a beach day! 20 of you showed up for a fun day of SPARK and a chance to play Dog Fight Football…just like in the newest Top Gun Film. After lots of food and drinks, you guys got to chill and connect with each other.
What a fun day!
“It was a laid back and wonderful Saturday spent at the beach with great company! Seeing new faces and some familiar ones, playing Dog Fight Football on the beach, swimming in the water. Finally, capping it off by watching the beautiful sunset together was surreal.”
- Vishal, Singapore
⚽ Games under the Tower
Knowing that they would be chilly the night of the Iceman Premiere, the Paris Yes Fam decided to get themselves warmed up by playing football and petanque (traditional french sport) under the Eiffel Tower. You welcomed many travelers who came to Paris for the premiere and had to give them a french welcome.
The only thing missing is some wine and cheese, but we covered that at the premiere.
Photos in front of your city’s monument help us show how global this community is!
“We decided to meet-up before the premiere, to get to know each other and make the most of the time we all had together, as a lot of people flew in from other countries for the premiere, some from other continents. It was just a beautiful wholesome meetup, in the park front of the Eiffel Tower. We played the frenchest game of all (Pétanque), in the most iconic spot in Paris, so that people that didn’t have much time in the city could still experience a little part of France. It was amazing getting to know all these people, and seeing them discover the beautiful community that is the yesfam, I can only hope they bring back their enthusiasm to their home cities/countries and jumpstart the communities there, and I think they might.”
- Agathe, France
Every week we go through the beautiful stories that the community shares in our Yes Theory Fam Facebook group to highlight someone living the "Yes Theory".
🐎 Mermah
Community member Ahmed shares the magical experience of attending “Mermah” an event in the north of Egypt where you get to experience the running of the horses. He went on a 10h train journey of over 600km to get to experience such a breathtaking experience.
We highly recommend you check out this story to see the incredible photos he got to take!

😬Time to Pick the Name of the Newsletter
About the new name for the newsletter, I know I’m throwing this out a little late but what about “Yes Weekly”?
Catchy, thematically appropriate and rhymes with the official name.
