I’m so excited for the future of this - but more so I want to ask you Matt, how do you build the vision of this community all on your own?? With a community as grand and amazing as the YesTheory community I know there is such great importance on building and continuing to manage the community. As a community manager at both a large scale and small scale for very diverse creative communities I want to suggest working together to help grow and develop the YesTheory community to be even greater, to help those who want to collaborate find each other. I write this here because I believe in YesTheory more than anything - I’m sure you’ve got a handle on all things community but I’m also sure that you could use an extra set of hands and mine are very helpful. I have a list of ideas that could help flourish the members involved and put the work you’re doing into action! If you give me a chance you wouldn’t regret having me be involved or at the least having a conversation together!
okay, I'm in! And I know this is rather selfish of me to ask, but if these zoom calls are still malleable, would we be able to make them not on Friday or Saturday? I'm sure me, and any other Orthodox Jewish subscribers you have would truly appreciate being able to join in! (as Friday and Saturday fall into shabbat and therefore no tech allowed)

Matt, your energy really vibrates as a ripple through all of us. It is being felt, and that, I think, is one of the most beautiful things about what it means to be human. Sharing energy and kindness that makes us better people.
All I can say is thank you for inspiring me to be who I am today. I've travelled more than I ever thought I could, I came out to my mom (by accident), and I'm on a journey to love myself more every day.

I can't promise a one on one interview as I'm a little swamped at the moment with building out the vision for this community and book + travel company BUT let's keep the idea in mind and when things calm down a little we can try to make your idea come to life. Who would be your first guest?
This question has haunted me for a while.
For years, it seemed almost impossible to answer it.
Practicing my introductory monologues and thinking about my signing-off catch phrase started to lose meaning....
Without asking someone lots of random but meaningful questions the show couldn't go on.
Who would be my first guest?
You.
While having a talk show may not be my biggest dream, telling other people's stories definitely is.
Creating something for someone; a painting, a song, an illegible poem on a napkin, a chapter in a book.
Creating anything to show who a certain someone was in this life.
I would love to create that certain 'something' to tell part of your story.
Interviewing you would be a great first step towards the 'something' that might come out of this.
I can't promise a nifty little video of said interview up on YouTube nor a great podcast episode.
I do promise a piece of memorabilia for a great time capsule.
One to be opened when the time is right to create the 'something' that will tell part of your story.
You may be twenty eight, feeling as if you've lived a full life, but we all know this is only the beginning.
