Man! This is something that I haven't thought of... But if you actually see it from outside, the majority of successful people have their families around them all the time! The fact that you mentioned seeing all of your idols, so far that nothing left to prove got me thinking! My journey is still going, also I haven't met any of my idols yet...But I have my family and I can reconnect with them more and on a deep level... Maybe I will priorities going back to my roots and link with my them than seek something that will come as things progress.

Thank you for the share Habibi

Man, you're awesome. Sometimes the biggest, best thing we can do in life is the smallest. Sorry to hear about her departure. Good luck in Paris, with your family.

Hi Matt,

I'm 25 and lost my mom 10 months ago. It took me a few months to realize just how much I needed to be back home. I drove cross country and just arrived back in Montreal this week.

I'm so sorry for your loss. If you ever need someone to talk to feel free to reach out.

All the best in Paris!

Emily

Hi Matt,

I know this feeling all too well. A month ago I booked a one way ticket to Egypt. I had reached all my goals of the past 5 years. I went to my dream college and got my BSc. Now what? When I was in high school I thought of moving back to Egypt to discover that side of me. I left as a young child so I always wondered about that. So with that, I booked the ticket and now I'm here. I'm here to study a bit more Arabic and try and live a simple life as an Egyptian girl. I wanna know who that side of me is. I want to understand the culture more. I feel like that way I can grow and move on from that to greater things. Here's to rediscovering our roots.

Lastly, I'm so sorry for your loss.

I hope you're as well as anyone can be at this time❤

Hi Matt,

This hit me hard today. I just found out from my mother that my paralysed grandfather will most likely pass away soon. I'm in my dorm in college, so I had to cope with it by myself.

I'm leaving my dorm this Friday so I can go say goodbye on Saturday. I am scared to see him, because he won't be the same as how I know him.

Thank you for the push to go visit. I needed this.

I'm so sorry for your loss,

Rosanne
