Congrats on hitting 7 million! 🥐 (cheers with a croissant in honour of Paris)
The longest and hardest lesson I’ve learnt was to not take on too much all at once. I think there is a thrill with juggling multiple projects once you’ve started one thing. You feel like you can do anything, especially if you’re gaining traction and are successful, so you take on another or two more projects and then you find the first project not moving along as strong as you want it, too tired for the other two, burnt out etc.. when you take on one thing at a time, nurture it and let it grow; until it becomes second nature is the best time to start something new. I also think it can be applied to relationships, activities, lifestyle changes etc. One of the best advices to share!
Big big big congratulations on the 7million!! You trully deserve it. Thank you so much for everything you do, building such a great community and inspiring so many people including me. So yeah, thanks, but not only to YesTheory but also for what you are doing here Matt.
Lowkey feel called out on this because I've been juggling a couple different projects currently...but definitely needed to read this. Jack of all trades is a master of none. Also just played the song of the week for my Puerto Rican friend, and we are bopping to it currently. Happy 7 mil!
I recently learned the rest of that quote, “a jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one.” I have a different outlook now, I don’t think being a jack of all trades is necessary bad, it’s just based on timing. Master one thing at a time, don’t juggle too many things all at once and good luck on your projects!
Huh that's an interesting take on it! I do think there is value in honing in on a specific craft, but perhaps not at the expense of pigeonholing yourself and not being open to new things! Gonna be using that extended version from now on thanks Mardin!
love the picture, all of you together is soo wholesome ❤️❤️❤️
It’s a really great photo!
Love these newsletters! And congrats!
